Welcome To Real Talk With Reginald D.  I'm your host, Reginald D. On today's episode, I'm going to talk.

 About end of the year, right? Let's go.

 We are now approaching the end of. Another year,

and there are some things you need to do to end this year right so you can go into the next year stronger and more prepared.

I know this year has been tough for you.

This year has made you put up your toughest fight.

I want you to know that's okay.

You're still winning.

All you got to do is understand the lessons you were taught or the lessons you've learned about your battles and challenges this year.

If you understand the lesson,

then you're on your way to the end of your year, right?

So I need you to get into the habit of this one thing.

This is going to change your life.

Get in the habit of starting your day off right.

If you start your day off right,

most likely your day will end right.

Wake up telling yourself that I'm going to win today. And take that mentality with you throughout the day.

No matter how ugly the day gets, you're still going to win.

If you wake up determined, you will go to bed satisfied.

If you're able to wake up every morning and look yourself in the mirror,

guess what?

You already won.

In order to end the year right,

you have to reflect on the progress you made.

It's time to look back and appreciate how far you've come.

So you started looking at the defeats you had all year,

but I need you to reflect on the progress you made.

You really did some good things this year.

Quit worrying about the things that didn't work.

Let it go.

You can't go back,

but you can definitely move forward into your next chapter.

I need you to make a commitment to yourself that you're going to end this year right.

Let's get it right.

The ending of the year is only putting you in position for a new beginning.

Embrace it.

When it comes to ending the year right,

I need you to start doing something different.

Stop working so hard to change yourself and start being yourself.

In order to end the year right, you have to get clarity on where you are headed and what you're trying to do.

People fail not because they don't have power to get what they desire for their life.

They fail because they don't have clarity or clear on what they want or how to go about getting it.

I need you to understand that your journey to greatness is going to be determined by how you end this year.

It's going to be determined by the decisions you make going forward.

There are two things that I have truly learned in my life.

I learned that growth is painful and change is painful.

One thing about me,

I hate change. I can't stand it.

And so some of you are probably like me.

Why can't things just stay the same?

But I've learned that some things can't stay the same because it wasn't meant to stay the same.

If some things stayed the same,

we would be stuck somewhere we don't belong.

I need you to know that the greatest thing you have is a choice.

You determine if you're going to get up and move forward or not.

It's time for you to end your year right by reinventing and resetting yourself.

It's time to take a deep breath and start again.

Be grateful for all the moments, good or bad.

They both got you here.

I need you to end this year bold.

Dream big and don't stop until you accomplish your dreams and goals.

End this year right by taking what you have been given and do something with it.

Stop complaining and stay positive.

It will work every time. Trust me.

You got to understand you have a gift that's inside of you.

What are you going to do with it?

I need you to know that every achievement starts with making a decision to try.

It's time for you to end your year right by setting the stage for your new victories.

Now, I'm going to go against what a lot of people say.

A lot of people say time is not on our side,

but I beg to differ.

Time is always on your side. Once you understand that every moment is a new beginning,

even though you're at the end of the year,

it's a new beginning for you.

In order to end the year right,

you have to start making room for the new.

In order to do that, you have to have the courage to let go of the old.

2nd Corinthians 5:17 says,

Old things have passed away.

Behold,

all things have become new.

That means that there is a transformation that's about to occur.

You are empowered to choose how this thing turns out.

Stop regretting so much about your life and start allowing yourself to grow.

You owe it to yourself.

See, holding on to things makes you believe that there is only a past.

But when you decide to let things go, then you will begin to see and believe that there is a future.

To end this year right, you have to have new strength, new hopes and new possibilities.

Your future is full of promise.

Keep striving to be better. Keep.

That's how you end your year right Self improvement is the main thing to success.

It's time for you to set the tone for your life.

In order to end the year right, you have to commit your time and energy into things that can drive your success and let go of the things that's not.

I need you to realize just because you're doing a lot of things doesn't mean you're making progress when it comes to your success,

dreams and goals.

In order to end this year right,

know that your future is bright.

You have to have determination and hard work.

Let your hopes and dreams guide you.

I know this year has been hard,

but the only reason you made it is because you got hard with it.

So you are tougher than you think.

I need you to know that this journey is yours and you are the one that's going to have to walk in it.

I need you to end this year right by reminding yourself that this year showed you that you are stronger than you ever knew.

You have survived 100% of your worst days.

That says a lot about you.

You have the winning fuel inside of you.

You didn't stay in the fight because you wanted to.

You stayed in the fight because you felt like you had to.

Because you were determined to win.

Remember, just because you fight battles no one hears about doesn't mean you are alone.

God is with you and that's enough.

So keep going and end this year right so the momentum of your greatness will carry you into next year.
