Real Talk With Reginald D - Merchandise

Welcome to Real Talk with Reginald D. I'm your host, Reginald D. On today's episode, I'm going to talk about stop running from what you desire for your life. Let me ask you this. Why do you keep running? Why do you keep running from your dreams and your desires? Is it because you don't think you're good enough to overcome the challenge? Don't let your fear overtake your greatness. Do you know that the more you run from what you desire, the more miserable you will be? You got to understand that you are strong enough, you're wise enough, and you're capable enough to get what you desire for your life. The reason you're running from your dreams and what you desire is because you've been let down too many times and you're afraid that you will be let down again. But here's the thing. People may have let you down in life, but I need you to understand that your dreams and desires are not linked to the people that let you down. They are linked to you. And as long as you keep running from them, you will continuously keep letting yourself down. Look man, people are going to doubt you. They're going to say things to try to kill your dreams. You just got to let your desires be stronger than their doubts. Your life is too precious to be half lived. It's time for you to stop running and stand up and live life loud. After all, it's your life. Let me ask you this. How do you want your life to be viewed? Do you want your life to be looked at as boring and unaccomplished? Or do you want your life to be looked at as being bold, lively, and well-achieved? The only way that's going to happen is that you got to start running from your dreams. You ever heard somebody say, run towards your dreams? They say that because the only way you're going to accomplish them, you got to chase it and start running from it. Don't let your past failures pump fear into you. Your dreams will come true if you have the courage to pursue them. Do you know that every trial and tribulation you have been through has built you for this time? They were part of the process when it comes to your dreams. It's going to take some strength to accomplish what you desire. And I need you to know that strength comes from pain. So everything you have been through has equipped you for something special. I need you to love yourself enough to believe in yourself. Life is too short for you to live unhappy and unsatisfied. It's time for you to stop running from what you want. See, some of you should be married right now and living a life with your spouse, but you keep running from it all because of what somebody did to you 20 years ago. Some of you should be running your own business, but you're running from it because it didn't work when you tried it 10 years ago. You've got to try it again, man. Stop running from it. Your future belongs to you if you believe in your dreams and start running from it and start pursuing it with everything you got. The more you wait, the tougher it's going to be to achieve what you desire for your life. Have you ever heard someone say that they're going to work on their body and get in shape for the summertime? A lot of people don't get it accomplished because they waited until May to start trying to transform their body for the summer, when they should have started at the beginning of the year in January. They waited too late. That's the same thing about achieving life's dreams and goals. The longer you wait, the tougher it's going to be. I need you to know that the dreams you pursue is going to make you a better you. The process is going to make you wiser and stronger. You have what it takes, and you just got to know that you can get it done. You are not a product of other people's opinions, but you are a product of your potential. That's something people can't take from you. Your belief and your potential works hand in hand. The more you believe in your potential, the more you will accomplish. Some of you have been having these dreams all your life as a kid. Why carry that with you all your life and don't do anything with it? I need you to understand that a kid with a dream eventually becomes an adult with vision. Do you know the most unsuccessful people are people that runs away from their situation and circumstances? If you are the type of person that runs from problems, you will lose this race every time. Because you've got to understand that problems are going to come while you're pursuing your dreams and your desires. You can't run from them. You've got to run through them and keep pushing towards what you want. Think about how far along you would be if you would have stopped running from what you desired 10 years ago. See, some of you have a calling that God is asking of you. When are you going to stop running and answer him? I remember when God was calling me. I ran and I ran from it. And the reason was that I didn't have the desire to be a minister, because I grew up in that all my life. My family was a bunch of pastors, ministers, and I wanted to be different. But I rebelled, and the more I rebelled, the worse my life got. Once I was obedient to God, my life began to change for the better. So whatever you do, be obedient to the call He has placed on your life. The crazy part about it, All the rebelling I did, and the extra hardship I put on myself, God's call on my life was not to be a minister or pastor of a church. He made me a minister that's a motivational speaker, and the people I mainly reach are people outside of the church. Now, I do speak in churches every now and then when I'm asked. I did all that rebelling for nothing. All the while, He was trying to give me the desires of my heart. I'm going to leave you with this. Whatever you do, don't be derailed by your problems. Be led by your dreams. Push yourself to the limit. That's the only way you're going to know your limit. And remember this, every time you rise, every goal you chase, every dream you dare to believe in, know that you're rewriting your story. Thanks for tuning in to Real Talk with Reginald D.
