Real Talk With Reginald D - Merchandise

Welcome to Real Talk with Reginald D. I'm your host, Reginald D. On today's episode, I'm going to talk about showing up to win. Let's jump right in. Let me start out by asking you this question. Why do you do what you do every day? What drives you to do what you do every day? Why do you wake up just to do the same old thing every day? Why? Most of you will probably tell me the reason you do what you do every day is because of the money. It's very rare to hear somebody say they do what they do every day because they like it. So you're getting up every day doing something you don't like. It's because the money aspect of it has you bound to it. At least that's what you think. Your outlook will change if you get up every day and tell yourself that I'm not showing up just for the money. Tell yourself that you're showing up to win. When you show up to win, you understand what you need to do for that day. When you show up to win, you control your own thermostat. You can turn up your temperature of greatness whenever you want to. Taking advantage of your moments is critical. Always stay mentally prepared. When you show up in your moment, show up to win. People don't win in their moments because they don't want it bad enough. There are always losing because they show up too weak. You got to understand that there are going to be some moments in your life where you got to apply everything you got to it if you want to win. If you want that promotion or that raise, there is no such thing as eight to five. Get that out of your mind. In order to win, you got to stay until the work is done. That's called showing up to win. The reason people don't show up to win every day is because they have a program mentality. They get up and go to work and come home, cook dinner, eat, watch TV, and go to bed. And they do that same routine every day. Let me ask you a question. When are you going to get out of your everyday routine and start incorporating pursuing your dreams and your goals? you got to realize that your routine is killing your dreams. You got to start showing up to win. And the way you show up to win, you got to put in the extra time to go after and accomplish your dreams. When you show up to win, you are telling yourself that you understand that it's going to take more. Once your mind and your heart has that agreement, then you will start focusing on the goal more than the extra time and the work that you are putting in to accomplish it. See, this is what I'm trying to get through to you. You are such an amazing and talented person. You have purpose inside of you. You have a gift that's so special, but I need you to understand the only way that the amazing is going to come forth and be revealed. You're going to have to have early mornings, late nights, some pain and disappointments. It's all a part of it. It's called sacrifice. Being mature is not age. Being mature is knowing how to sacrifice in order to achieve your dreams and your desires. You got to do whatever it takes, man. If you just show up to win every day, I'm telling you, in six months, you're going to be proud of how far you have come. You just got to show up and win every day for those six months. I need you to understand that the life in front of you is the most important thing you got. Your future is riding on you and you showing up to win. In order to pull out the greatness in you, you have to have a strategic mind. You have to think more than you talk, and you've got to notice everything. You need to say to yourself, this is what I want to accomplish for my life, and then do what you have to do to get it done. It's as simple as that. I've learned over the years, in order for me to show up and win, I quit caring about pain, failure, rejection, heartbreak, and all that stuff. I made up my mind that I'm showing up to win every day. I'm here to win and I was not letting that other stuff derail me. I went a long time without being in a relationship. It's all because I had a goal that I set out to accomplish. I had to sacrifice some things in my life. Was it easy? No, but I accomplished the goal. Let me ask you this. How bad do you want it? If you want it bad enough, You will stop just showing up and start showing up to win. Sometimes you got to let a part of you die inside in order for you to be a stronger and wiser version of you. You got to let the mediocrity of you die in order for you to rise to your fullest potential. You feel defeated because of the place you're in right now. What if I told you that you're in the place you're supposed to be right now? So you think you are defeated in this thing called life because of your circumstances. But I'm telling you, your life is a setup. You are a story. You are a story you're going to have to tell once you overcome your situation. God designed it just that way. Listen, being on the bottom has built more champions than privilege ever did. You just got to make sure you show up to win in every situation of your life. If your life is at the bottom right now, still show up to win. You owe that to yourself. You are that important. If you show up to win, you will win. If you don't push yourself, you're going to stay right where you are because nobody is going to do it for you. You got to get to a place where you are proud of yourself. Nobody knows what you're overcoming, but you. They don't know when you were down, how much strength it took for you to rebuild yourself. They don't have a clue. They don't understand the process, all because it's your fight. You're the one that has to show up and win. And I need you to get that in your mind. You got to go harder today than you did yesterday if you want a better tomorrow. I need you to look in the mirror and know that you are looking at the person that is most responsible for your life. Everything you have been through is making you ready. Every tear you cried, every disappointment, every failure is making you ready. It's setting you up to win. You got to realize that your success depends on you showing up. Some people are successful simply because they showed up to win. You have to be a warrior when it comes to your ambitions. You have an obligation. Success comes to those who have the guts to win. You keep hitting the snooze button in your life. You're still giving yourself a little more time. You should have been a lot further along in your life, but you keep hitting the snooze button. It's time for you to wake up, get up, and show up to win. When you show up to win, you will eventually win. It might not be immediately, but it will be definitely. You will win not because you're gifted. You will win if you're determined. I need you to understand that it's time for you to stop living your life and start leading your life. There is a difference. When you are living your life, you're just going through life allowing and letting things happen to you. You just take whatever is given to you. You are letting the situation drive your life. But when you lead your life, you take over your life and take it where you want it to go. If you lead your life, you will get it where you want it to go and you will get it there a lot quicker. Let me ask you this. Why do you keep quitting when it comes to pursuing your dreams? What makes you want to just quit? I'm going to tell you why. You quit because you make everything else more important. The day you make your dreams the most important thing in your life is the day you will stop quitting and giving up. This is the scary part. Some people are so used to quitting and giving up that it doesn't even faze them when they do it. They don't feel disappointed, they don't feel let down, and they don't feel like they fail. And it's all because they have gotten so used to quitting, it has become numb to them. That's a dangerous place to be. Don't do that to yourself. Remember, you are showing up to win and not showing up to lose. I often hear people say that pursuing their dreams and desires are too hard. It's hard because they don't show up. It's hard because they don't show up to win. Think about this. If you love yourself the way you say you do, then you will prove to yourself what you can do. If you love yourself like you say you do, you will show yourself how much you do. And you do it by showing up and start winning when it comes to your life. Your heart should be yearning for success. Your heart should be yearning for greatness. After all, that's what you are. You have greatness inside of you. Your heart should be yearning for you. Things can be better for you, trust me. You just got to pay attention to what your heart is telling you. I need you to be quiet and stop overthinking. Listen to your heart and the rest will follow. This is what life is about. Life is about what you choose, what you lose, and what you save. Let me break it down like this. When you choose, that means you got to let something else go. When you choose something, then you got to lose something and then whatever you choose, you got to do everything you can to save it. You got to do everything you can to hold on to it. That's it, man. That's life. That's why it's so important to choose the right things for your life. Not to feel good things, but the right things. I'm going to leave you with this. Stop limiting yourself and start challenging your limits. Keep believing in yourself. You are valuable and too worthy to let yourself down. You are so much better than what you think. You owe yourself more than what you're doing. Show up to win and keep the faith. If you say it and believe it, then it's done. When you say it and believe it, that's called faith. And faith attracts God. He gravitates to it, and he makes sure what you believe is done. So keep believing in yourself and keep showing up to win. Because if you do that, whatever he has for you and whatever your name is on, God is going to put a rush on it. Thanks for tuning in to Real Talk with Reginald D.
