Welcome to Real Talk with Reginald. I'm your host, Reginald. In today's episode, I'm going to talk about being a product of your choices. Let's talk about this. I need to remind you of a truth that holds power to transform your life. You are a product of your choices. Each decision you make, each action you take, shapes the person you become and the life you lead. In this journey together, I want to ignite a fire in you. You have to seize control of your destiny and craft a life that is a testament to your potential. Let me be real with you. Making choices isn't always easy. Sometimes it's frightening and uncomfortable, but it's necessary. In life, you got to make choices. You can't run from it. Chances are staring you in your face every day. You as a human being is nothing but a choice every day. You can wake up each morning and choose if you're going to win or lose that day. You have a power every day to choose if you're going to be depressed and in the phone, or you're going to choose to rise above your situations and conquer the day. That's in your power. You can control that. You have to understand that you are not a victim, especially when things are not in your control. You are bigger than any obstacle that you're going to face in this thing called life, man. You are bigger than that. You just can't quit. There is a clear message in every obstacle that you're going to face in your life. Once you understand the message, you will then understand your life. That's it. Check this out. God kept sending me messages in my life and it became clear on what he wanted to use me for. He needed me to be a giver. He will always bring people my way that needed help. It was tough because a lot of times I didn't have any money to give up, but I understood the assignment. See in life, if you don't understand your assignment and your purpose, you will end up falling short on the blessing that God has for you. I remember this guy that went to church with me. He lost his job and ended up losing his car because he couldn't make his car payment. He finally got another job, but didn't have no way to work. I had a couple of cars that were used and nothing spectacular. Trust me, nothing was spectacular about these cars. So I called him one day and picked them up for lunch. As we were eating, I pulled out a title to my car and signed it over to him so he could have a way back and forth to work to his new job. Now keep in mind that if my other car break down, I don't have nothing to fall back on, but I couldn't worry about that because it was a part of my assignment. When you understand your assignment, you can't be afraid to go after it. After all, it's a sign to you. There was another occasion where I bought five $100 gift cards and just gave them to random people on Christmas Eve. I went to five different stores and gave out gift cards. I asked God to show me who I need to give these cars to. Show me a sign. I was in one grocery store and there was this young lady that had two small girls in the car pushing them around. One of the little girls took the grocery ad paper and threw it on the floor and it landed right in front of me. That was my sign. I gave the mother the $100 gift card and said Merry Christmas. And she asked me, was I serious? And I said, yes. She broke down crying right there. Then I met another lady in the CVS parking lot. I gave her a gift card and she started crying because she had been on her work at the hospital with a bad case of COVID. She said how much the gift card would help her with gas going back and forth to work until she got paid. The other three gift cards were basically the same reactions once I gave them out that day. There was another situation where I got a phone call. A friend of mine said there was a young lady that was a single parent that was about to get her electricity cut off in my hometown because the power company did a major increase on their bills. So I asked for the young lady's number instead of trying to find her help in my hometown. I called her and she gave me the information and I called and paid her bill over the phone. I never met this young lady before in my life. I don't even remember her name, but I need you to understand that I made a choice to be obedient. And because of that, God has blessed me over and beyond in my life. Yeah, it's hard giving away money that I grind so hard to get, but I had to stay disciplined. So you got to stay disciplined in this thing called life. You got to understand the situation you're in and then make a choice on how you're going to handle it. Everything in life is not going to be easy. Life is like a steak. Sometimes you got to eat it raw, man. Life is not going to taste good all the time, but you got to endure it. In life, you have to choose your battles wisely. You don't have to attend all the negative you are invited to. Decline the offer. You have to choose to stay positive. Sometimes in life, you can't rack your brain on wondering why. If it comes, let it. If it goes, let it. There is too much inside of you to worry about what was meant to be. You got to focus on what is right now and then handle it. Expecting things to change without putting in the effort is like waiting for a shift at the airport. It's not going to happen. You are entitled for success. Believe that. You can't stay at the bottom because the bottom is too crowded. You got to rise up. You are better than that. Let me ask you a question. What do you want for your life? Once you understand it, then it's your choice to go get it. It's not where you start. It's about the direction you choose to move in. Every small choice you make, every action you take will accumulate like drops of water forming a powerful river of change in your life. You have to understand what you do every day matters. Imagine this for a minute. Imagine your life desires, your dreams and your goals. Now ask yourself this question. What choices am I making to bring that vision to life? Are you embracing discipline over procrastination? Are you choosing perseverance over giving up at the first sign of difficulty? Are you prioritizing your dreams over temporary distractions? I need you to understand that time is your most precious resource. And every moment wasted is a choice swan. You got to choose to invest your time in activities that is going to propel you forward. You can't allow it to slip away into the void of unproductive pursuits. The choice is yours. Never forget the power of consistency. The choices you make today and every day will compound over time and lead you to the manifestation of your dreams. It's not about making a few good gestures. It's about your daily commitment to excellence. Each choice you make should be a reflection of the person that you aspire to be and a testament of the heights you aim to reach. I need you to understand in this thing called life, you have to be bold, have courage, and don't let fear overtake you because you will lose every time. Life is like two dogs and a bone. What you think is going to happen when you got two dogs with one bone. It's going to be a fight, right? That's the same thing about life. Sometimes you got to fight. You just got to make sure you got the bone. Look around you. Everything you see, every invention, every success story is a result of choices made by individuals who dare to dream, dare to act, and dare to persevere. From the moment you wake up to the moment you lay down, I need you to understand that your life is a canvas and you hold the brush. The choices you make will give you the power to paint a masterpiece about you and your life. I'm going to leave you with this. I need you to embrace the profound truth that you are indeed a product of your choices. Your destiny doesn't lie in the hands of fate, but it lies in the realm of your decisions. Seize this power with unwavering determination. Harness the potential within you to create a life that resonates with purpose, passion, and accomplishments. Remember that the world is waiting on a masterpiece that only you can create. Make bold choices and let your life be an example of the incredible impact you can have when you take charge of your destiny. Thanks for tuning in to Real Talk Reginald.
