Welcome to Real Talk with Reginald D's motivational coaching question and answer segment. I'm your life and motivational coach, Reginald D. I'm here to answer any questions you may have about your journey toward personal growth, fulfillment, and success. Today's episode is inspired by a question from a listener, and we will be discussing how to find your passion. Now let's jump in to today's question, which comes from a listener. Reginald D. I'm 26. I have no goals, no passions, no life experiences. What do I do? It's not uncommon to feel this way, especially in your mid-20s, when it seems like everyone around you has their life figured out. I didn't have my life figured out in my mid-20s, but here's a secret. Most people don't. They're just good at pretending that everyone is born knowing what their gift or passion is. You got to remember that. And it's also not uncommon to have the feeling of being stuck and unmotivated when you don't feel like you have clear direction or purpose. However, you are not alone. Many people have dealt with these feelings sometime in their life and have overcome them. When you have no goals in life, it can be difficult to know where to start. One way to begin is by identifying what interests you have and find something that you may like or may find that you have a passion for. What have been some of the most fulfilling moments in your life? This can help you create a sense of direction and purpose and guide you towards setting achievable goals. When you identify your interests and things you may be passionate about, it can help you create some meaningful goals. I want you to ask yourself this question. What would you do if you had unlimited time and resources? Now, let me ask you a few questions. Do you feel lost? Do you fear failure? Are you feeling overwhelmed with choices you have made in your life? Do you feel like you're lacking direction? Your answer to these questions can help guide you towards your passion. If you're feeling like you're drifting through life without any sense of purpose or meaning, it may just be a lack of motivation or direction or just feeling like you're stuck in a rut. Look at your life and see if these feelings are due to a major life change. Have you recently lost your job? Are you going through a breakup? Or have you moved to a location where you don't have a support system? These feelings you're going through could lead to low self-esteem, depression, or anxiety. But remember, these feelings don't have to be permanent. They don't. With the right mindset and approach, it is possible to overcome what you're feeling and find your purpose and direction in life. One thing you really need to do is some self-reflection. I need you to take some time and think about what you enjoy. And it doesn't have to be a passion just yet. What are the little things in life that bring you joy or that you enjoy doing? Then I need you to seek out and try some new things. And please don't put pressure on yourself that you have to be good at them for them to become your passion. Find a hobby. Join a class. Volunteer. travel, or even just visit a park or try to connect with others. Sometimes our passions are not found within, but through others. Meet new people, listen to their stories, and share your own. You might find inspiration in most unexpected conversations. And by trying new things, you may discover that you have a talent or a passion for something you never considered before. Now we must remember that understanding your interests and passion is crucial for kick-starting your goal-setting journey. And it will put you on a path to a meaningful life. And when you try out things or have experiences, you uncover the driving force of what will motivate and inspire you. The next thing I want you to do is to think about what is important in your life. And this might involve asking yourself some questions. What do you want out of life? What are your values? What are your priorities? Asking yourself these questions will help you gain a better understanding of what truly matters to you. Then it will be easier for you to think about setting goals and taking the necessary steps to achieve them. Now I want you to remember that setting goals can help create a sense of direction and purpose and get you out of your comfort zone so you can learn new skills or try new things. Try and set some small achievable goals at first. It can be a simple goal of reading one book a month or walking 10 minutes a day. As you know, our small victories lead to big confidence boosts. So by doing this, you will be building your confidence up. Then I want you to set some short-term goals. After you have achieved those short-term goals, it's now time for you to start setting your long-term goals. Set specific long-term goals and make sure they're clearly defined, allowing for focused efforts. And make sure your goals are realistic, achievable, and within reach. Then track your progress, which will provide insight into how far you have come. And you need to make sure to align your goals with your values and long-term vision, and set a deadline so it keeps you accountable. When you achieve your goals, you will feel accomplished and satisfied. which will boost your self-esteem and confidence, and provide you with a sense of pride and fulfillment. And be patient with yourself. This is critical. Finding your path is not a race. It's perfectly fine not to have everything figured out. Life is about learning, growing, and adapting. And it's important to remember that everyone's journey is unique and there is no set path to success. Now for your challenge for the week. I challenge you to do one thing you've never done before. It doesn't matter how small it is. The point is to step out of your comfort zone and into a new experience. Who knows? It might just spark something inside of you. To my listener, thank you for the question and I truly hope it provides you with some guidance and inspiration. As always, thank you for tuning in, and until next time, I want you to remember, it's never too late to start your journey. See you next time.
